BOPP Labelling

BOPP labelling is the most-installed labelling method for PET bottles in India. The label is printed on BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) film, dispensed from a roll, applied wrap-around to the bottle with hot-melt glue, and rotates with the bottle for full wrap-and-overlap. Why BOPP dominates: - Cheapest per-bottle cost - Excellent print quality - Resistant to humidity and condensation (unlike paper labels) - Compatible with all standard bottle diameters Typical BOPP labeller speeds: 60–240 BPM. Servo-driven units handle full BPM range. Quick-change format parts let one labeller serve 200ml, 500ml, 1L and 2L bottles within 15-20 minutes. For premium brands and tamper-evident applications, **shrink-sleeve labelling** is the alternative (full-body shrink, more brand-visibility surface).
