A fully automatic 2-cavity linear stretch blow moulding machine with an extended heating oven and long-stroke stretch rods, for 3L to 10L PET containers.
Standard 4- and 6-cavity linear blowers are optimised for 200ml to 2L. Above 3 litres the preform is heavier, needs longer and more evenly distributed heating, and requires a longer stretch stroke than those machines provide — pushing a 5L preform through a 4-cavity machine produces uneven wall thickness and a weak base. This machine is built for that range: fewer cavities, a longer multi-zone oven with independent lamp control, servo-driven long-stroke stretching, and a higher clamping force to hold the larger mould set. It is the standard companion to our 5L/10L home-pack filling line.

Common questions.
Why not use a 4-cavity machine for 5L bottles?+
Heating length and stretch stroke. A 4-cavity oven cannot heat a 5L preform evenly at production speed, and the shorter stretch rod leaves the base under-formed. The result is inconsistent wall thickness and bottles that fail top-load and drop tests.
Can it also run 2L bottles?+
Yes, with a mould and neck tooling change, though you will be running at 2 cavities where a 4-cavity machine would be more productive. Most plants keep this machine dedicated to large formats.
