A small-footprint captive plant for hotels, hospital groups, universities, corporate campuses and religious trusts, producing branded 500ml / 1L bottles and 20L jars for internal consumption.

Any institution consuming more than roughly 2,000 bottles a day is usually better off producing than purchasing. The economics are straightforward — you replace a per-bottle purchase price with a per-bottle production cost, and you gain a branded touchpoint. The engineering is deliberately conservative: this plant is designed to be run by facilities staff, not a dedicated production crew, so it uses simple gravity filling, generous over-sizing on the RO, single-button CIP, and an alarm-first HMI. We also handle the part institutions consistently underestimate — the BIS licence, the QC lab and the daily test records, which are mandatory even when you are not selling the water commercially.

Do I need a BIS licence if I am not selling the water?+

Yes. Bottling packaged drinking water requires BIS certification and an FSSAI licence regardless of whether it is sold or supplied free. Captive plants are inspected on the same basis as commercial ones.

How many bottles a day justify a captive plant?+

As a rule of thumb, above roughly 2,000 bottles a day the production cost per bottle drops far enough below purchase price that payback lands inside 18–30 months. Below that, buying usually still wins.
