A turnkey still-flavoured-water plant with a blending and dosing skid, pasteurisation, and a choice of hot-fill or cold-aseptic filling depending on your preservative and shelf-life strategy.

Flavoured water sits awkwardly between packaged water and a soft drink: it is licensed as a beverage, not as packaged drinking water, and it needs microbiological protection that plain water lines do not provide. This plant adds a syrup / flavour dosing and blending skid ahead of the filler, plus either a tubular pasteuriser feeding a hot-fill block (simplest, preservative-light) or a cold-aseptic block (best mouthfeel, higher capex). Vitamin and electrolyte variants use a separate dosing loop so heat-sensitive actives are added post-pasteurisation.

Common questions.

Is flavoured water licensed as packaged drinking water?+

No. Once you add flavour, sweetener or nutrients it becomes a beverage under FSSAI, not packaged drinking water under BIS IS 14543. The licensing route and the plant hygiene requirements are different, and we scope both up front.

Hot-fill or aseptic for a first flavoured-water SKU?+

Hot-fill, almost always. It is significantly lower capex, easier to operate, and 6–9 months of shelf life is enough for most Indian distribution. Move to aseptic when heat damage to flavour or vitamins starts costing you more than the capex difference.
