Built for the way your line actually runs.
A vertical form-fill-seal water pouch machine producing 200ml sachets at 40–80 pouches per minute, supplied with the matching RO water house and BIS documentation.
The 200ml water pouch is the highest-volume packaged water format across UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana and much of eastern India — sold at a price point no bottle can reach, through channels bottles do not serve. Machine cost is a fraction of a bottling line, film cost per pack is very low, and a single operator can run the machine. The engineering focus is entirely on seal integrity: a bad transverse seal leaks in transit and destroys an entire consignment, so the machine uses temperature-controlled sealing jaws with a pressure profile and an inline leak-detection option. We supply it as a complete plant with the RO water house, since BIS certification covers the water, not just the packing machine.

What does a water pouch machine cost?
A Water Pouch Packing Machine (200ml Sachet) costs ₹4–7 lakh machine only in India as an indicative range. Final pricing depends on your feedwater analysis, whether the scope is turnkey or machinery-only, your SKU mix and the utilities already on site.
Indicative market range for a turnkey line, not a quotation. The figure moves with feedwater quality, whether the scope is machinery-only or turnkey, how many SKUs you run and what utilities already exist on site.
Output, degree of automation and whether you need redundancy on critical stations.
A high-TDS, iron-heavy or seasonal input changes the treatment train and its cost materially.
Machinery only, or turnkey with civil drawings, utilities, commissioning and BIS / FSSAI documentation.
Number of SKUs, bottle sizes and how fast you need to switch between them.
Common questions.
Do water pouches need a BIS licence?+
Yes. Packaged drinking water in a pouch is regulated exactly as it is in a bottle — BIS IS 14543 certification and an FSSAI licence are both required, and the plant is inspected on the same basis.
What causes water pouches to leak?+
Almost always the transverse seal — jaw temperature drift, worn jaw faces, contamination on the sealing surface, or film that is out of specification. Temperature-controlled jaws and a daily seal-strength check catch it before a consignment ships.
